Ecija adds Íñigo Zumalabe and Miguel Sánchez as partners in corporate and capital markets

Ecija has started the new year by reinforcing two of its practice areas that have seen the most additions in recent months: corporate and capital markets. Both departments add a new partner with the arrival of Íñigo Zumalabe and Miguel Sánchez.
Zumalabe has more than 20 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, corporate and private equity markets. After four years as director of the commercial and mergers and acquisitions department at Deloitte and having been linked to Freshfields for more than a decade, his career has focused on corporate law, commercial contracting, and corporate advice to management bodies of entities mercantile.
Sánchez has more than 14 years of experience specializing in the securities market, corporate governance and mergers and acquisitions. He spent more than ten years at Ramón y Cajal, where he gained extensive experience in advising listed and unlisted companies in different sectors (financial entities, energy companies, real estate, agri-food and biomedical, among others), as well as top-level investment banks, in national and international securities market operations, both in regulated and unregulated markets.
