Peruvian law firm Diez Canseco has announced the arrival of Omar Alvarado as a partner in the firm’s competition and intellectual property practices.
Alvarado is a ten-year veteran of the local legal scene, and his areas of expertise include competition, regulatory and intellectual property matters as well as antitrust, unfair competition, consumer protection, and bureaucratic barriers.
He holds a law degree from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, a MSc. in Regulation from the London School of Economics and Political Sciences, and has taken post graduate courses in competition, regulation and merger control at the Universidad of Valladolid and Universidad de Lima.
Alvarado has a diverse professional background which includes both, public and private aspects.
