The Brazilian firm hired two professionals from Stocche Forbes Advogados to strengthen its mergers & acquisitions practice.  Artur Fernandes Andrezo and Paulo Afonso Tavares Rodrigues will join the firm as a partner and a counsel respectively.


Paulo Afonso Tavares Rodrigues: He graduated  law from Mackenzie Presbyterian University in 2009 and specialized in corporate law at the CEU-IICS Law School, in  Sao Paulo. He started his professional career as an intern at Barbosa Mussnich Aragao in 2007 and was promoted to attorney in 2009. In 2010, he joined Machado Mayer Advogados as an attorney for real estate matters and moved to Stocche Forbes in 2012, to work as a senior attorney, before leaving the firm to join Dias Carneiro Castro.


Artur Andrezo: He graduated in accounting in 2003 from Sao Paulo university and obtained a bachelor’s degree in law at Sao Paulo Catholic University in 2004. In 2010, he received hismaster’s from the University of Chicago Law School. He started his career at Machado, Meyer, Sendacz e Opice Advogados in 2003. In 2010, he joined David Polk & Wardwell LLP as a foreign associate. In 2012, he became a counsel at Stocche Forbes Advogados, where he remained until moving to Dias Carneiro Castro as a partner of the firm.
