BBVA and CaixaBank grant €600m in financing to Naturgy Renovables
Spanish energy company Naturgy Renovables has been granted €600 million in green financing by BBVA and CaixaBank.
BBVA and CaixaBank acted as coordinating entities, bookrunners, mandated lead arrangers (MLAs) and green agents.
Naturgy Renovables is a subsidiary of Naturgy Energy, a company specializing in gas and electricity integration with operations in Spain and Latin America.
A Madrid-based Watson Farley & Williams Madrid team advised Naturgy Renovables – the team was led by partner Rodrigo Berasategui (pictured), and included senior associate Álvaro Barro.
In 2018, Naturgy’s turnover was €24.3 billion.
