Boruchowicz is an M&A partner at the firm and a former managing partner of Baker McKenzie's Buenos Aires office.

He advises foreign and local investors on its investments in Argentina, on corporate, regulatory and commercial structures, combining strong local capabilities with seamless support from colleagues in key international financial centers.

He has also served as an associate professor in the University of Buenos Aires School of Law.

He focuses his practice mainly in the areas of M&As and private equity, and also advises on real estate and general practice issues.

Boruchowicz’s appointment takes place in parallel to the appointment of London-based Kirsty Wilson, corporate partner and chair of the firm’s Global Reorganizations Group, to Baker McKenzie’s executive committee and EMEA regional council.

Commenting on the new appointments, Milton Cheng, Global Chair,Baker McKenzie, said: "In Kirsty and Gustavo we have two outstanding leaders with a strong track record of successfully leading large teams, and collaborating across multiple jurisdictions and various practices. I am looking forward to the perspectives they will bring to our Executive Committee discussions, as we drive our strategy forward”.
