Auctus Capital has won Best German, Austrian & Swiss Fund at the 2019 Private Equity Exchange & Awards 2019, held in Paris and organized by Leaders League.


After 18 years in business Auctus has established itself as the leading private equity firm for the German-speaking SME sector, or Mittelstand by acquiring majority stakes in and providing growth capital to companies in situations such as succession and corporate spin-off.

 

The Private Equity Exchange & Awards, aka PEX, is a major European private equity event which gathers 1,200 industry professionals and funds, LPs and management teams from more than 10 different countries.

By deciding to award Auctus, the panel of 80 jury members recognized the growth and dynamism of a fund that today has 15 seasoned investment professionals managing assets in excess of €500m, 21 current platform interests, a total of 50 single-portfolio companies counting with 7,000 employees, a turnover in excess of € 1bn and 24 successful roll-up strategies.

 

Partner Daniel Meuthen was on hand in Paris to receive the Award. Meuthen has made a major contribution to the success and recognition of Auctus with his renowned expertise in areas such as healthcare, consumer goods and business services (industial services/facility management).

 

In his acceptance speech Meuthen noted the high standard of nominees and that both Auctus Capital and Private Equity Exchange Awards had turned 18 and were now fully fledged of their respective ecosystems
