Asterion Industrial Partners appoints Silke Scheiber as head of portfolio committee
Madrid-headquartered mid-market infrastructure investment manager Asterion Industrial Partners has announced the appointment of Silke Scheiber as head of its portfolio management committee.
Scheiber was formerly part of KKR’s European private equity team in London, where she spent 16 years. During her time at KKR, she was the first female partner appointment in Europe and the second globally and also served as the head of the European industrials team.
Prior to joining KKR, she began her career with Goldman Sachs in Frankfurt.
An Asterion statement said: “With the growth in the size of the portfolio, which today already includes six investments, the long-term management of the portfolio and its performance is highly relevant, warranting the addition of further senior resource and oversight. In line with Asterion’s approach and focus on value creation, Silke. Scheiber will reinforce the firm’s top management with 24 years of investment and asset management experience.”
It added: “We feel very proud and honored to have Silke as part of the senior management of Asterion. She will add very relevant asset management skills to the team and enrich our industrial value creation approach”.
