Arrival of Mario Miceli boosts Ichino-Brugnatelli partnership

Having founded Studio Legale Pessi e Associati at the turn of the millennium, labor expert Mario Miceli has left to join the Rome office of Ichino-Brugnatelli e Associati, a firm best known for its labor and employment expertise.

The move confirms the 60-lawyer firm’s growing focus on Rome, where it opened an office in March last year with labor specialist Massimo Pallini. The firm has recently upsized this office, moving from Via Prestinari to Corso Vittorio Emanuele II, where its lawyer headcount has now risen to nine. Miceli will co-head the Rome office alongside fellow equity partner Pallini; the other senior lawyers there are senior associates Silvia Faraci, Andrea Musti and Giuseppe D’Onofrio.

Although only two of the firm’s 16 equity partners are based in Rome, the office’s establishment and growth over the last year will allow the firm to better serve administrative clients as well as corporates based in central and southern Italy. As well as delivering widely recognised expert advice and representation in labor and employment, the firm is also active in civil, commercial, criminal and administrative law.

As for its labor law capabilities, the firm’s latest partner is well versed in a wide range of employment matters, including trade union negotiations, social security, and administrative and EU law. He has experience acting for companies and individuals in both a transactional context and a more general advisory one.
