Andersen appoints new partner in Spain

Andersen, headed in Spain by José Vicente Morote and Íñigo Rodríguez-Sastre, has signed the former managing partner of the Valencia office of DWF-RCD, Borja de Gabriel, as a new tax partner in their Valencia office.

Andersen, headed in Spain by José Vicente Morote and Íñigo Rodríguez-Sastre, has signed the former managing partner of the Valencia office of DWF-RCD, Borja de Gabriel, as a new tax partner in their Valencia office.


Borja de Gabriel has a 20-year career advising on corporate taxation and wealth restructuring operations, both nationally and internationally. Previously, he has worked at MA Abogados, Deloitte and DWF-RCD, where he was managing partner of the Valencia office, in addition to head of the tax practice.

He specializes in tax planning for investment and restructuring operations, and in providing recurrent tax advice to multinational and family groups.

In addition to Borja de Gabriel, Ricardo Pla joins as a director in the corporate department led by Ignacio Aparicio. During his professional experience of more than 15 years, developed in Garrigues, Broseta, PwC and DWF-RCD, he has specialised in corporate and contract law, business reorganisation operations, M&A and debt restructuring and refinancing processes.
