The Milan based law firm emlex identifies a long lasting common professional experience of Eva Maschietto and Massimo Maggiore, that at the end of 2020 have rebranded their corporate-law practice, which currently count 4 partners, and another 15 professionals. The brand incorporates a strong personal footprint, in which the initials of their first names have been merged (“E” standing for Eva and “M” for Massimo).


Lawyers working at emlex have all a strong international background and many of them are engaged in academic activity, collaborating with high profile universities and educational constitutions in Italy. The firm focuses its activity on different sectors, including environment and real estate, dealing with every related aspect of public law and corporate law, in particular M&A. It further deals with information technology law and intellectual property law, the subject matters of which the founding partner Massimo Maggiore is a lecturer.

Massimo Maggiore is head of the Iintellectual property and information technology Department that currently counts a total of two partners and six associates and regularly advices on all IP rights, both in connection with contentious and transactional work. The IP department also deals with the administrative side of trademark filings, prosecutions and opposition proceedings. The department has also developed considerable experience in assisting companies on complex data-protection and information technology related issued, including cybersecurity.
