Set up in 2012, Tetra Law has swiftly developed into an important player based on the following fundamental foundations:
Enterprise: our clients expect legal services that bring added value to their own business. As an integrated firm, we’re the idela choice to provide pragmatic advice from which the solutions make a direct contribution to our clients’ development.
Synergy: To achieve this goal, Tetra Law’s various firm members work in close collaboration free from any form of partitioning, which would serve no purpose. The solutions they devise are v-based on expertise in a number of domains, each of which supports and reinforces the others.
Passion: Tetra Law demands a high level of involvement by its members in their subject area and a will to achieve excellence in the practice of their profession, in the service of their clients.
The department of private tax handle two type of cases:
As investment and planning estate advisors, the lawyers of the department deliver tailored counsel to the clients based on a global approach of the cases. Our team has a strong knowledge of civil law (matrimonial regimes, inheritance law, property law, etc.) as well as of tax law (personal income tax, inheritance tax, donations and sales tax, etc.). The increasing mobility of our clients, also, drives us to develop international solutions. This is essential to meet the demand of more and more mobile individuals with various and evolving needs in addition to high expectations.
As defense lawyers, they assist and represent the clients (individuals and corporations) in tax litigation cases and criminal proceedings linked to white collar crimes. This assistance is based on two sets of competence: a good reputation and negotiating skills combined to a strong mastery of the substance of the law and the legal and administrative procedures.
Several lawyers in the department hold an academic staff appointment as professor or assistant in different Belgian Universities and graduate schools (Solvay Brussels School of Economics & Management, ULB, UCL, CBC). They frequently publish academic articles in specialized legal journals and participate, as speakers, to many seminars which target various profiles (lawyers and other legal professionals, tax officers, accountant and private individuals).
