Founded in 1959, Preu Bohlig is a leading IP boutique in Germany. We have offices in Munich, Düsseldorf, Berlin, Hamburg and Paris.
In intellectual property law, our work spreads over all relevant areas, from patents to trademarks and further to competition law, including trade secrecy and design law. Pharmaceutical law and Life Science is also one of our core competencies. Besides IP, our work in the field of IT law are constantly growing, which completes our services as a true IP/IT law firm.

We have been advising and representing clients in infringement disputes, product piracy, border seizure proceedings and validity proceedings before German IP courts, the Federal Patent Court and patent offices, such as the EPO on behalf of companies acting in the energy, medical technology, engineering, chemistry, pharmaceuticals, telecommunications and semiconductor technology sectors. With more than 30 attorneys in the field of intellectual property law, we are one of the largest German law firms for IP litigation. With our office in Paris, we were able to make a footprint in the French market.

Our regular customers include both blue chips and large private companies. We traditionally maintain close contacts with German industry. In recent years, our customers include DAX-30, including Germany’s largest companies. Our customer base is balanced between German and international customers. While we have gained a number of US-based companies as new clients in recent years, we have now also been able to strengthen our customer base in Asia.

Preu Bohlig has a very good standing in pharmaceutical and life science law with team members of our Munich office.
