POSITIONING

While digital economy is essentially based on binary logics, lawyers are here to add a third dimension to that thinking: the business strategy within the law framework.

MMLEX, Maggiore Maschietto Besseghini law firm was established in 2007 as a boutique with the ambition of covering a vast array of practice areas of interest for business clients.

The approach was both multidisciplinary and specialized, in a world: holistic.

The intention of the founding partners is mirrored in the choice of following companies on markets and projects that mainly require a modern, passionate and shared approach, such as software developing, cloud computing, blockchain solutions, software integration, e-commerce, communication, health and biotech, fashion, food, environment, smart economy, sustainable development and protection of industrial design and artistic assets.

We believe lawyers’ added value lays in the ability to look at matters from as many visual angles as possible. The time of Chinese walls between legal issues seems to be fading away.

The Internet has dissolved the idea of boundaries and dramatized the concept of interdependence and knowledge sharing.

This holds very true for legal issues.

Massimo Maggiore is head of the IP/IT Department that currently counts two partners and six associates and regularly advices on matters that constantly intersect IP and IT, and namely competition law, data protection, contract law, consumer

law, both on deal negotiation and on litigation and arbitration side.

Our professionals are well established litigators in their fields of practice and assist companies both before courts of law and independent administrative bodies, such as the competition authority, the data protection authority or the telecommunication authority on domestic and international matters.
