UBS Switzerland issues bonds

UBS Switzerland AG has successfully carried out an issuance fixed-rate covered bonds for a value of CHF685 million (€746.2 million).

UBS Switzerland AG has successfully carried out an issuance fixed-rate covered bonds for a value of CHF685 million (€746.2 million).

The fixed-rate bonds due January 15, 2029, are for the value of CHF190 million at 0.745%, while the bonds due January 15, 2032 are for CHF345 million at 1.0225%.

The covered bonds are governed by Swiss law and are listed on SIX Swiss Exchange and indirectly backed by a portfolio of mortgages from UBS Switzerland AG’s domestic mortgage pool.

Homburger advised UBS Switzerland on the issuance, with a team led by Stefan Kramer and Benedikt Maurenbrecher (both capital markets) and included Daniel Hulmann, Yulia Shaburnykova (all capital markets), as well as Stefan Oesterhelt (tax).
