The US law firm Concepción Global opens office in Madrid

After more than 10 years of experience in advising leading multinationals in all sectors in the United States, the Miami based law firm will serve as a European base for their multinational clients

The US law firm Concepción Global, based in Miami, is landing in Madrid. The boutique specializes in dispute resolution, international arbitration, international tax planning and tax proceedings before the American tax authorities.

Located in Madrid at Calle de Almagro, the firm has decided to have, for the time being, a local lawyer to support the project, Munia El Harti, who will have the remote support of the lawyer Jamihlia Johnson and the team.

El Harti has devoted her career mainly to the area of international investment disputes. He was of counsel in international investment and commercial arbitration, cross-border disputes at the global law firm Robalino and has also participated in lectures at the master class seminar on renewable energy disputes for the Master in Environmental Law at the Complutense University of Madrid.

Concepción Global has more than 35 years of experience in international commercial arbitration, investor-state dispute resolution and cross-border litigation, with a high degree of specialization in the intersection between common and civil law jurisdictions and a team from firms such as Deloitte, DLA Piper, Jones Day, McDermott Will & Emery.

The law firm has advised government agencies, multinational companies and international investors, working with leading arbitration organizations and conducting proceedings in Spanish and English involving arbitration venues and regulatory laws of multiple countries.
