PwC opens office in Washington D.C.

PwC's launch in Washington will be headed up by Richard Edmundson, who is head of PwC Legal's international business reorganisations group.
ILC Legal LLP will provide its nonaudit U.S. clients with foreign legal advice as well as referrals to the firm’s affiliated legal service providers across the globe.

Pursuant to D.C regulation on bar admission, the international lawyers will be licensed as special legal consultants by the D.C. Court of Appeals. This status will allow the foreign attorneys to advice on legal matters that are tied to US law corresponding to the intention of not prioviding US legal services
ILC Legal, will focus on the global activities of US companies with a wide range of commercial, immigration, tax and data protection.
With more than 2500 lawyers worldwide, DC office will play the role of the US connector for PwC international clients.
