Nova AEG launches Joint Venture in the energy sector

Nova AEG has launched a Joint Venture in the energy sector, aimed at setting up a new company operating as a reseller of electricity and natural gas.

The transaction, structured in partnership with a sector-specialised broker, led to the creation of a NewCo that will benefit from the complementary expertise of the two partners.

Nova AEG is a supplier of electricity and natural gas, under the direction and coordination of its sole shareholder, Nova Coop, which directly handles the procurement of raw materials on European energy markets.

CBA advised on the regulatory, commercial, tax, employment and trademark protection aspects of the transaction. The multidisciplinary team was led by Partners Francesco Piron, Francesco Assegnati, Gianvito Riccio and Barbara Sartori, supported by Of Counsel Tiziana Sogari, Senior Associates Andrea Motta and Giuseppe Serranò, and Associate Roberta Toschi.

Nova AEG was supported in the transaction by its managers Marco Sola Titetto and Massimo Candellone.
