Miguel Romera is the new compliance and risk director at Vodafone Spain

Vodafone Spain has appointed Miguel Romera Marroquín as its new Corporate Legal, Compliance, and Risk Director.

Romera joined Vodafone in 2017, starting in the commercial division, and was promoted to Compliance Officer in 2022. Prior to Vodafone, he worked as a lawyer at Indra and Hispasat, where he managed contract drafting and provided legal counsel on international operations. He has also served as Vice-Secretary of the Board at Vodafone Enabler España and as Secretary of the Board of Trustees at Fundación Vodafone España.

Romera holds a dual degree in Law and Political Science from the Complutense University of Madrid, a Master’s in Corporate Legal Consultancy from IE Business School, and a PhD in Administrative Law. He has further enhanced his expertise with specialized courses in Contract Law at Harvard University and English Common Law at the University of London.
