Legance Announces New Partners, Senior Counsel, and Leadership Appointments

Legance has appointed 4 new Partners and 13 Senior Counsel, as well as Andrea Giannelli and Filippo Troisi as Co-Managing Partners and Alberto Maggi as CEO.
With the appointments of lawyers Stefano Bandini, Serena Commisso, Marco D’Agostini, and Andrea Tortora della Corte, the number of partners at Legance rises to 70. The number of Senior Counsel increases to 35 with the promotion of Giuseppe Alessandro, Federico Borgogno, Francesco Castoldi, Francesca Colantoni, Marco Cottone, Riccardo Daguati, Lorenzo De Rosa, Ada Esposito, Luca Lombardo, Riccardo Petrelli, Matteo Pierotti, Paolo Ronca, and Emiliano Torresan.
Stefano Bandini mainly focuses on M&A, particularly listed companies, equity capital markets, and corporate law. He regularly advises Italian and foreign companies and institutional investors on equity capital markets transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and private equity, with a particular focus on cross-border deals. Stefano has gained significant experience in public takeover bids and/or exchanges, IPOs and capital increases, mergers including cross-border ones, and corporate governance.
Serena Commisso assists Italian and foreign companies in managing all labor law issues, especially regarding the termination of contracts with top managers, incentive, retention, and welfare plans, outsourcing processes, as well as all labor aspects related to M&A transactions. She has significant experience in incentive plans based on financial instruments, including in regulated sectors, working closely with other departments on tax, corporate, and regulatory aspects. Serena also represents clients in labor disputes concerning individual and collective dismissals, requalification of contracts, changes to working conditions, demotion, mobbing, and disputes related to anti-union behavior.
Marco D’Agostini has gained extensive experience in all aspects related to employment management and termination. In particular, he regularly handles issues related to hiring, the use of different types of contracts and flexibility tools, individual and collective dismissals, managing employment relationships in extraordinary transactions, incentive schemes, contracts for services, business transfers, and outsourcing.
Andrea Tortora della Corte assists Italian and foreign clients in structuring and executing complex private M&A transactions, particularly supporting private equity funds, industrial operators, and private clients in strategic investments, joint ventures, and other extraordinary finance operations. He has solid experience in various sectors including fashion & luxury, real estate, food & beverage, and insurance. He also assists startups and venture capital funds in investment operations.
