Dedicated to Togolese and European investors, the economic forum offers opportunity to meet investors from the business world, political leaders, bankers and financiers, African and top executives from sub-regional financial institutions, top managers of investment funds, members of academia and development partners, all of whom will gather to champion the economic growth and development of Togo.
To date, 391 projects have been submitted, 42 countries will be represented, 27 speakers will give presentations on the latest economic topics and more than 300 investors from both sides will explored investment and partnership opportunities between Togo and the European Union.
This forum comes as Togo’s National Development Plan 2018-2022 gets underway. The plan aims to position Togo at the number one economic platform in the subregion. It is based around three principle aims: transform Togo into a logistic hub of excellence and a top business center; develop transformational centers of agriculture, manufacturing and mining; and consolidate social development by reinforcement inclusion.
At the end of the forum, the 100 most promising projects will be eligible for financing. It is an exciting opportunity for Togolese companies, and especially SMEs and young businesspeople which usually face more difficulty finding. Moreover, the forum will showcase the country’s attractiveness and all the possibilities that it can offer.
