Gibson Dunn Expands Corporate Practice with Kirkland Hires

Gibson Dunn has announced the quadruple capture of George Stamas, Mark Director, Andrew Herman and Alexander Fine from Kirkland & Ellis, with the four joining as partners in the firm's corporate practice. The group focuses on a broad spectrum of corporate law issues, M&A work and private equity transactions.
Director, Herman and Fine will be based in Washington, D.C and Stamas, who was formerly a senior partner in Kirkland's practice group, will continue to serve as a senior partner across the firm's offices in New York and Washington, D.C. He was enthusiastic about the group's prospects following the move, remarking: “We are excited about the opportunity to join the firm.
