Garrigues hires new partner to lead labor law practice in Colombia

Carolina Camacho joins the Garrigues Bogotá office after heading two major labor law teams at prestigious Colombian firms and her addition to the team brings the Bogotá partner count to 10, and who are backed by over 50 attorneys.

Carolina’s appointment as an equity partner is to be submitted to the next partners’ meeting.

Carolina has more than two decades of experience leading advisory services for Colombian and international companies in the areas of labor, social security and immigration law. She is a respected labor and employment lawyer and is highly ranked by prestigious legal directories.

She provides expert advice on labor aspects deriving from bankruptcy processes, business restructurings, mergers and acquisitions, labor due diligence reviews, collective labor issues, immigration procedures and social security contributions, as well as advising companies on their day-to-day labor matters and representing them in labor lawsuits.
