Flex Packaging AL has completed the acquisition of a 100% stake in Plastar Pak and Rovex, two companies specialising in flexible food packaging and real estate management, respectively. Flex Packaging, a prominent producer of flexible packaging with a focus on flexographic printing, aims to reinforce its position within an industry undergoing significant technological and structural changes.
The transaction is part of a broader expansion strategy within the food and non-food packaging sectors. These markets are currently defined by a high level of dynamism, driven by the development of advanced materials and an increasing emphasis on sustainability and production efficiency. Through this acquisition, Flex Packaging consolidates its service capacity and strengthens its footprint in a key geographical and industrial region.
Watson Farley & Williams (WFW) provided legal assistance to Flex Packaging throughout all phases of the deal, including legal and tax due diligence and the negotiation of all contractual agreements. The team was led by partner Carlo Cosmelli, supported by associates Nicolò Ricci Petitoni and Tommaso Piccinetti, while counsel Alfredo Guacci Esposito managed the tax profiles of the acquisition. FP Corporate Finance, with partners Mario Pascarella and Fabrizio Fiorito, acted as financial advisor to the buyer in coordination with the legal teams.
