Ecuador’s PBP names new president and managing partner

Ecuadorian law firm Pérez Bustamante & Ponce (PBP) has announced that partner Sandra Reed has been named the new president of the firm, while Juan Gabriel Reyes has been named managing partner.

Sandy has more than four decades of experience in the profession, particularly in infrastructure projects and their financing. She has also led the progress of the Fabián Ponce Ordóñez Foundation, and she has been involved in multiple professional association and corporate responsibility projects.

For his part, Juan Gabriel has led the firm’s tax and family office practices.

In addition to his work as an attorney, he is also a professor at the law school of Universidad San Francisco de Quito, and president of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Tax Commission - Ecuador Chapter


The firm’s partners have entrusted Sandy and Juan Gabriel with deepening PBP’s footprint in terms of client support, mentoring young professionals, cutting-edge technology, diversity, and corporate social responsibility.
