DLA Piper hires Natalia López Condado as head of Financial Regulation and Investment Funds

DLA Piper has hired Natalia López Condado as counsel responsible for the Financial Services and Investment Management and Funds area within the Financing, Restructuring and Projects department.
Natalia López Condado has had an extensive professional career of almost 25 years of experience in the legal sector. She has extensive experience in regulatory issues that affect the private banking sector in Spain (business models to be implemented in Spain by Spanish and foreign financial entities, authorization processes before the Bank of Spain and the CNMV, MiFID II Policies, product marketing, personalized recommendations, discretionary portfolio management, rules of conduct) and the asset management sector (ELTIF, UCITS, AIFMD, PRIIPs, Cross-Border Distribution of Funds Directive, creation of investment funds, master-feeder structures, pre-marketing of money). In addition, she has experience in the prevention of money laundering.
Natalia began her professional career at Clifford Chance, where she spent more than 20 years. She graduated in Law from the Autonomous University of Madrid, she has a Ph.D. from Georgetown University and an International Finance Master (LL.M) from the University of Chicago.
