DASA Acquires Grupo Leforte In R$1.77 billion Transaction

On December 3rd, medical diagnostic giant, Dasa, announced the acquisition of Grupo Leforte for R$1.77 billion, in a move that expands the company's presence in São Paulo' hospital segment.

The purchase includes 3 hospital units - Leforte Morumbi, Leforte Liberdade and Hospital e Maternidade Christovão da Gama - and 5 clinics, including one specialized in pediatrics. 

Dasa is the leading medical diagnostics company in Latin America, with over 900 units, 40 brands and over 270 million exams performed per year. With this acquisition, the company is now also the second biggest player in the hospitals market and consolidates its position as the only medical services enterprise that holds a relevant position in all steps of patient care.
