Communardo Group acquires Switzerland’s Mibex Software

Germany’s Communardo Group GmbH, a portfolio company of funds, has acquired all of the shares of Swiss IT company Mibex Software GmbH.

Mibex Software is a provider of Atlassianpps and specialized in DevOps. With a portfolio of over 20 applications, Mibex offers innovative solutions that are particularly geared towards the DevOps platforms Bitbucket, Bamboo and Confluence.

The company serves more than 2,700 customers worldwide, which rely on Mibex's powerful and customized DevOps and collaboration tools to optimize their development and business processes.

The merger with Mibex represents a valuable strategic addition for Communardo under the umbrella of Bregal Unternehmerkapital, and reinforces Communardo's position as a versatile software and consulting company in the Atlassian ecosystem, while also enhancing the competencies of the entire group.

Law firm Bär & Karrer acted as legal advisor to Communardo Group, with a team led by Christoph Neeracher and Philippe Seiter, with Luzius Bili and Silvio Halter, all of whom are part of the firm’s M&A team.
