Caher, which is led by Javier Rotllant and Salvador Arsuaga and 30 per cent owned by Suma Capital since 2018, is expected to have a turnover of €35 million this year.
Under the terms of the deal, Francisco Martos, founder and managing director of Winchannel, will retain the remaining 25 per cent stake in the company and will lead the new phase of growth.
Founded in 2004, Winchannel’s services included demand generation campaigns for technology manufacturers with a business-to-business strategy (connectivity solutions, servers, cyber-security, e-commerce, cloud hosting), as well as the management of the point of sale for consumer electronics manufacturers (mobile devices, tablets, peripherals, white and brown ranges and small household appliances).
Winchannel currently has more than 200 employees, most of whom work with clients in Spain and Portugal. In the current financial year, despite the global pandemic, the company expects to achieve a turnover of around €10 million euros.
The advisers on the deal were Bufete Castilla, Houlihan Lokey, Araoz & Rueda and Grant Thornton.
Suma Capital’s founding partners are Enrique Tombas, David Arroyo and Pablo de Muller.
