Bayer has appointed Ana Bayó Busta as the new South Europe Cluster Lead for Law, Patents & Compliance. The executive takes up this position after having headed the legal department of Bayer Iberia for the last five years, where she also served as Secretary of the Board.

Before joining Bayer, Ana Bayó Busta held the position of Director of Legal & Compliance for Spain and Latin America at Menarini Pharmaceuticals for seven years. Previously, she accumulated more than a decade of experience in leading law firms such as Clifford Chance and Garrigues, where she specialised in legal advice.
She holds an LL.M. in Intellectual Property Law and a Bachelor’s degree in Law from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
