Across Legal promotes Marc Pereta Farré to partner in venture capital and M&A

Across Legal has promoted Marc Pereta Farré to partner in its venture capital and M&A practice, reinforcing its capabilities in advising companies within the technology and innovation ecosystem.

Pereta, previously senior associate, joined the firm in November 2015 and has developed his entire professional career at Across Legal, led by Ignacio Lacasa.

Over the years, he has built strong expertise in venture capital and M&A transactions, advising startups and high-growth companies, as well as family offices and venture capital funds. His practice focuses on the structuring and negotiation of investment rounds, corporate governance, corporate restructurings and M&A transactions.

He has been involved in several notable deals within the tech ecosystem, including the sale of IriusRisk, a company specialised in threat modelling and application security solutions, to ThreatModeler, and the investment in Cuideo, a digital home care platform, by GCO Ventures (Grupo Catalana Occidente).

Pereta has also advised on major funding rounds such as the €20 million financing of Red Points, a technology company focused on anti-piracy solutions; the €10 million round of Sequentia Biotech, a bioinformatics company specialising in omics data analysis and application; and the approximately €13 million funding round of Murphy AI, where he advised Enzo Ventures.

With this promotion, Across Legal continues to strengthen its commitment to internal talent and to consolidating its position as a key advisor in venture capital and technology-driven transactions.
