Unstoppable Dentons, this time in Luxembourg

Following consecutive tie-ups in China, the USA, Australia and Singapore, the global giant is set to combine with the Luxembourg firm OPF Partners.

Dentons will expand its presence in Luxembourg through a combination between Dentons Europe and OPF Partners, a independent business law firm, effective from January 1, 2016. 34 lawyers, including 9 partners, of OPF Partners will join Dentons Europe.

OPF Partners is ranked by Leaders League for M&A, Corporate Tax, Banking & Finance, Private Equity, Asset Management, Fund Formation, Commercial Litigation, and International Litigation & Arbitration.

The move expected to strengthen Dentons’ expertise in the investment fund and private equity sector follows consecutive mergers with Dacheng in China (13 February), McKenna Long & Aldridge in the United States (10 April), Gadens in Australia and Rodyk & Davidson in Singapore (5 November). It is also in line with Dentons’ recent growth in Europe with the launch of a Milan office (6 October) and the hiring of 50 lawyers in Budapest (16 April).
