The firm has new partners working with antitrust, litigation, while collar crimes and more.
The Brazilian firm announced on March 9th its five new partners, Vivian Fraga do Nascimento Arruda, Julio Andrade Neves, Rafael Medeiros Mimica, Bruno Sbardellini Cossi and Karla Maeji.
Vivian Fraga do Nascimento Arruda: Specialized in Regulatory Economic Law at Fundação Getúlio Vargas, she holds a degree in Political Science and International Relations from Suffolk University in the United States. Additionally, she participates, as a member, in the Competition and Consumer Relations Committee of the Center for the Study of Law Firms (CESA). She will work in the firm in the segment of antitrust.
Julio Andrade Neves: Holds a Master`s Degree in Civil Law from University of Sao Paulo. He is also a Visiting Researcher at University of Siena and a Member of the American Bar Association (ABA). He will work in the segment of litigation.
Rafael Medeiros Mimica: Working in the same field as Julio, he became a specialist in Civil Procedure at the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo. He also studied Capital Markets and Civil Responsibility, at Fundação Getúlio Vargas.
Bruno Sbardellini Cossi: Holds a Master of Law from Columbia University and works in the segments of Corporate and Foreign Investment, Mergers and Acquisitions.
Karla Lini Maeji: Also a Master in Law from Columbia University. Additionally, she is a member of the Institute of Criminal Sciences. She will work in the segment of white-collar crimes and compliance.
According to a press release issued by TozziniFreire Advogados, with the new partners and the hire of Ludmila Groch in November, 2016, the firm now holds one of the largest compliance and white collar teams in Brazil. Overall, the firm now counts on a total of 86 partners.
