Laetitia Costa promoted at Milbank in London

Laetitia Costa is promoted as the only female partner of Milbank in London.

Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP announced the promotion of nine partners in six offices worldwide, effective on 1 January 2015. Notably, Laetitia Costa, who has been exercising as special counsel within the firm’s Leveraged Finance Group since September 2013, becomes the firm’s only female partner in London.

First French promoted to the firm’s partnership, Ms. Costa has over 13 years’ experiences in LBO financing and debt restructuring, and her recent mandates include the financing or refinancing of Spie, Sebia, IKKS, Novacap and Médi-Partenaires. With a focus on cross-border and French banking transactions, her expertise extends to syndicated lending, structured finance and real estate transactions. She is a lawyer in Paris since 2005 and a Registered European Lawyer in the Supreme Court of England and Wales since 2013.

For the record, in 2014, the team led by Ms. Costa and her colleague Suhrud Mehta has been ranked as excellent in leverage finance by the International Corporate Finance Guide of Leaders League.
