Two leading Israeli law firms have merged to form a top five law firm. Shibolet & Co. and Raved Magriso Benkel & Co. have announced that they have merged as of the end of 2017.
Shibolet & Co was founded in 1973 and is one of the largest law firms in Israel acting as a full service firm which focuses on cross-border transactions.
Shibolet has strong practices in numerous fields, including hi-tech and venture capital, capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, litigation, energy and infrastructure and project finance.
Raved, Magriso, Benkel & Co., established in 1990, is considered a leading firm for commercial law, litigation, real-estate and hi-tech.
This merger makes the new firm one of the largest firms in Israel with a refined practice in corporate law including specialization in different sectors such as hi-tech and energy and infrastructures.
During 2017, each of the firms appointed several significant partners, expanding areas of expertise to include anticorruption compliance, defense and homeland security, insolvency, receivership and reorganization, cybersecurity and privacy, project finance, copyright and intellectual property, blockchain, smart contracts and more.
