The Turkish firm has three new partners and three new managing associates.

The Turkish firm has three new partners and three new managing associates.

Turkish full-service institutional law firm Gün + Partners announced its new partners and managing associates on March 6th. The company has clients that operate across several fields, such as life sciences, energy, construction & real estate, logistics, technology, media and telecoms, automotive, FMCG, chemicals and defense.


Due to the vast portfolio covered by Gün + Partners, its professionals also have experience in various industries. The firm has three new partners:


Güldeniz Do?an Alkan: She graduated in law at Galatasaray Universitesi in 2005 and made her bow for Mehmet Gün & Partners in 2006, as a senior associate. In January 2015, she moved to Gün + Partners as a Managing Associate, where she remained until becoming a partner. She has experience working with Life Sciences, Intellectual Property, Patents and Utility Models, Trademarks and Industrial Designs.


Mutlu Yildirim Kose: She graduated from Istanbul University in law and landed her first job in the industry in July 2006, as a Trainee Attorney at Gün + Partners. She rose through the ranks of the firm, being promoted to senior associate in November 2007. In January 2015, she became a managing associate, until becoming a partner. She holds experience in same fields as her colleague, Güldeniz Do?an Alkan.


Zeynep Seda Alhas: Graduated from Galatasaray Universitesi and the path she followed was similar to Mutlu`s. She joined Gün + Partners as a trainee attorney in April 2006 and became a senior associate in July 2007. In January 2015, she was promoted to managing associate, before becominga partner in the firm in 2017. She holds experience in intellectual property, trademarks and industrial designs, copyrights, anti-counterfeiting and IP prosecution.


As for the managing associates, the firm now counts on the services of three new professionals.


Ali Bozoglu: Graduated from Istanbul University in 2008. In the same year, he became a lawyer at Gün + Partners and remained in the position until January 2015, when he became a senior associate, prior to being announced the firm’s new managing associate . He specializes in dispute resolution, business crimes and anti-corruption, administrative, tax and regulatory, trademarks and industrial designs.


Beril Yayla Sapan: She graduated in 2008 at Bilkent Universitesi, but  entered the legal world prior to her graduation. In May 2007, she worked as a summer trainee for Oyak Renault. In June 2008, she joined Gün + Partners as a senior associate, before becoming a managing associate. She has experience in dispute resolution, employment, business crimes and anti-corruption, administration, tax and regulation.


Görkem Bilgin: He graduated in 2008 from Marmara Universitesi. Throughout his career, he gained experience in many firms. He worked as an Intern at Aybay & Aybay Law Firm from September 2003 to May 2004, before moving to Selcuk & Seluck Law Firm, continuing as an Intern. In January 2009, he received the first opportunity to work full-time in advocacy. He became an Associate at Gür Law Firm, prior to moving to Gün + Partners in November 2012, in the same position. In January 2015, he began to work as a senior associate for the same firm, prior to becoming managing associate. His areas of expertise are corporate and M&A, life sciences and energy natural resources.


The firm has its headquarters at Istanbul, the capital of Turkey, and has offices in the cities of Ankara and Izmir. Gün + Partners operates in Turkish and English, as primary languages, but also German, French and Russian.
