In August 2016, Stephanie Lhomme joined FTI Consulting, as a senior managing director, to launch its forensic and litigation consulting practice in Paris ‒ with the objective of rolling-out the business in France, the Benelux, Switzerland and Francophone Africa.
One year after her arrival, the team is expanding with the arrival of five senior experts: Jean-Marie Duniau, Cyril Magnien, Jerome Desrosier, Thomas Sely and Jeremie Kreitz.
Jean-Marie Duniau joins as a managing director. Former managing director at Kroll, he started his career with the French Ministry of Defense and Ministry of Foreign Affairs with various postings in the Middle East. He specialized in complex business intelligence assignments, money laundering and fraud investigations. He has also lead forensic investigations focusing on employee wrongdoing, conflicts of interest and embezzlement.
Jerome Desrosier, joining as a senior director has been head of research at Kroll, and is expert at sourcing information both from open sources and human intelligence. Jeremie Kreitz, former Kroll and now senior director at FTI Consulting, has led several major pre-acquisition and market entry due diligence assignments in Europe. He also intervened in anti-corruption investigations and asset tracing involving state-owned entities and government officials in Europe, Africa and Latin America.
Cyril Magnien, appointed as a managing director is an expert in extensive forensic and compliance in the field of energy, manufacturing, consumer business and banking. With over fourteen years of experience, he has worked on various cross-border projects. Thomas Sely, senior director technology, and specialized in the legal technology field, has advised various companies and their lawyers in the best use of different forensic technologies and e-discovery solutions.
This new team of experts chosen by Stephanie Lhomme is highly promising. “These are challenges no single skill set can properly address which is why I decided to put together an integrated and cohesive team, hiring professionals experts in their field: technology and information governance, E-discovery and computer forensics, strategic and geopolitical intelligence, forensic accountants and investigators, compliance experts,” she said.
