Demarest Advogados Promotes Partner

Brazilian law firm Demarest announced on May 24th the election of the attorney Ana Carolina Botto Audi as a partner, in its mergers and acquisitions department.

Ms. Botto Audi graduated from Pontifical Catholic University of Sao Paulo in 2003 and in 2008 received a master’s in law degree from the same institution. In 2012, she obtained another master’s, this time from University of Pennsylvania, specializing in mergers and acquisitions, corporate law, corporate finances and securities regulation.

She has more than 15 years of experience counseling clients in private equity investments, mergers and acquisitions, purchase of stocks and assets and joint ventures. She started her professional life as an intern at Demarest. In 2001, she changed firms to work as an associate for Lacaz Martins, Pereira Neto, Guverich & Schoueri Advogados. In 2012, she worked as an international associate for Cleary Gottlieb & Hamilton LLP. 

Commenting on the opportunity Ana Carolina said: “I am really glad to return to Demarest, where I started my career as an intern.
