Following this alliance, the two firms will jointly intervene in national and cross-border disputes in the insurance, energy and transport sectors. They will work in tendem to advise national and international companies in commercial disputes. This partnership is not only an opportunity for Clyde & Co to "expand its customer network in Malaysia, but also to expand it further in the region," says Ik Wei Chong, head of the firm's Asia division.

This new partnership complements Clyde & Co's legal services offering, which aims to capitalize on the growth potential of the Asia-Pacific region. Through partnerships with local law firms, the firm is already present in Jakarta and Singapore.
