Franklin offers an independent alternative to the Paris offices of major international network firms. Our lawyers advise to a global best practice standard, offering clients expertise in all core areas of commercial law. We have built our practice around the needs of French and international companies, public entities and financial institutions.

In public sector law, Franklin has developed specific expertise advising public sector companies and other public entities or governments, on issues relating to acquisitions and transfers of state-owned companies, as well as privatizations. He advises private sector companies on public contracts and procurements, land and city planning, state ownership, environment law, as well as administrative litigation matters.

Franklin also has specific expertise in the field of regulatory compliance (especially in the telecommunications and energy sectors) and its Public/Environment and Real Estate teams also work closely together.

Finally, Franklin has widely recognized expertise advising French and international companies as well as governments and international institutions on major projects and institutional reforms. In particular, the firm has participated in setting up and negotiating numerous energy projects (BOT, IPP, renewable energies) in France, Latin America and Asia.

The Public Sector Practice works closely with partner David Blondel’s Bank – Finance Practice, which has widely recognized expertise advising French and international financial institutions on structured finance transactions, especially in the renewable energy sector.
